In Texas, the Republican Primary Election for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1 in Collin County will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Before Election Day, Texas also offers Early Voting so voters can cast their ballots on their own schedule. For this election:

Early Voting runs February 17–28, 2026.

These early voting days give you flexibility if you’re busy on Election Day. Be sure to check the official Collin County Elections website for precise times and locations.

Who Can Vote

If you are:

  • a registered voter in Collin County
  • and your voter registration address is within Justice of the Peace Precinct 1

then you are eligible to vote in this race as part of the Republican primary.

Justice of the Peace precincts are separate from voter registration precincts, but maps showing how these areas are drawn are available on the Collin County website.

Where Do I Vote?

Poll locations for both Early Voting and Election Day are based on your home address. Early voting locations and voting day locations can be found 2 days prior to the first day of early voting. You can visit https://www.collincountytx.gov/Elections/election-information for more information.

Poll locations may be at:

  • community centers
  • schools
  • churches
  • other public buildings throughout Precinct 1.

What Area Is Precinct 1?

Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 is one of several JP judicial areas in Collin County. According to official county maps, each precinct covers a specific portion of the county as determined by the Commissioners Court.

Although these boundaries are specific for judicial purposes and may differ from your voter registration precinct, if your registered address is in Precinct 1, the JP race on March 3 applies to you.
